TOYOTA.. it is time to throw a deal

It is time for TOYOTA to realize your mistake and stand by the promise made. Mr Toyoda said, "Let me assure everyone that we will redouble our commitment to quality as a lifeline of our company,". Yes you need may have to do it and that will only help you win the hearts of those who have experienced TOYOTA. I dont think any one needs to consider this as a planned and coordinated move from US car makers. Even then, why TOYOTA delayed the whole process of recall. Leran from your mistakes and fight to bring more quality and not words to justify the situation. Bring out all the known issues and say how you are better than other cars.

You have been a value for money car of all times. It is a warning for other car makers. It it time to work hard and bring results.

If you are able to create quick fixes.. it is time to throw a deal.. I will go for it :)

Flowers from Winter

I got some flowers from Winter. It was a gift given to my sister who works in the rite aid Pharmacy. The flowers are really beautiful and colorful. It is like "flowers in the Winter".....

Yellow potato curry... Brand of Sujith

Yes. This curry is yellow in color because it has lot of turmeric and the main ingredient of the curry is POTATO. We call in India as POTTTATTTTO but in US it is POTTETO. Whatsoever it is an eatable adventitious root and it maked good curry and many of the American dishes too. Sorry, I am a nikampoop when comes to American dishes. Not because I have hatred for it. I dont know many of them out there. Burger, Pizza, Sandwich, Mashed Potato with something and a few I have eaten but no idea about it. I like most of the American, Italian, Chinese and Mexican food. But all vegetarian as I am one of those luckiest to be. I will talk about that later.


Okey, let us come back to the topic. Yellow Potato curry. My friend and room mate Sujith (Left) make best vegetarian curries of Kerala (India). Sujith completed fellowship in IIT, Mumbay before coming to the US. I learned i make a good amount of Kerala curries from him. I also learned to make this curry and made it without Onion (which is an active ingredient of this curry) at my brother's home. There is a substitute for onion, Cabage. Yes Cabage can create the crispy feeling that Onion has and we make the curry closer to the one which is made with onion if we do it in a moderate way. Ginger, Mustard, Curry leaves, Green Chilly and Turmeric dominates on other ingredients and taste  Ahhhhhhhh!... Zing....................... when served with Roti, Pulka or Chapathi. Let me know. Yes it is my Karma

Karma is an indian name but it is a common word in the west now. Now there is a car too, named as Karma. Fiscar, an American based company debuted its fully electric Karma in the last auto show in Detroit. It is majestic and masculine. It has a character and looks better than BMW or Audi. We need to wait and see how it acts on the road but I am hopeful about it.

Apple!! it is time for you to work on content and social areas where you are weak at. I dont think it is a big innovation but some thing better than note books. How nice it is...? I need to find out.

I can give it a shot.. but I dont want to be charged for online services you offer. You have proved to be a quality manufacturer of top gadgets but that alone will not work if you stay offline and the whole world is going online.

Copy google concepts and build an online power. You can also work with Yahoo or buy some one else (who else?).

Microsoft.. where are you?

Please dont think that I am picking up every logo and giving comment about it. I really feel bad about currently what microsoft is? Google is going gaga on the web and Microsoft is trying to create a hype on windows 7.

Remember... It is windows who revolutionized the PC market, internet and created a demand for the need of computers. IT was like any other thing before 90s. It is Bill Gates who made everything possible. It reached the common man. There is no one in the world who do not know who is Microsoft and Bill Gates. He is the star, the real star but where is Microsof now. Steve Balmer is doing really good but how long will Microsoft talk about windows and .Net. Share point is a flagship but there are many others out there for a competition.

 It is time for the forgotten Heroes to come back and create an internet mainstream like Google. I still do not know why Microsoft is not blogging their products. It is time to copy Google and give it a shot.

Haiti we mourn for you

Haiti, we are with you. Thousands have died in the earth quack that shook the capital of Heiti, Port -au-Prince. Let us all contribute something to the organizations working day and night doing rescue operations and taking food, water and medicine to the affected.

Google is still cool

Google is still cool in coming out with phones running on Android 2.1 so quickly. May be there are hick ups with the launch of Nexus, I am sure they can rectify that soon but I am closely watching the reviews. User also needs time to getr accustomed to the new phone. Thanks to engadgests for coming up with a report on the press appearence of Google with HTC. Google still need to work hard with companies like Motorolla, Sony Ericson and HTC to bring out a game changer. I am looking forward for one.

4 idiots went to watch 3 Idiots

I watched this movie at Clear View Cinema at Parsippany (http://www.clearviewcinemas.com). I was almost house full and lot of people to watch the movie (60% Indians). May be the rest is from Pakistan and neighboring countries of India. Rarely we can see Americans too . I see lot of similarities between Indian and American movies though the movies taken here do not have songs and have a lot of explicit scenes some times. Americans and Indians like fantasy and finding enjoyment in things that they cannot do but some one else can do like 'Rajanikath fighting with 100 gundas :)", movies like 2012 where one guy is trying to escape a calamity with his family. Indians are still improving on making all the funny things we do more believable to viewers.

Ameer Khan is choosy about what he does and makes sure he hits the target. He did this time too. The movies is a real entertainer and worth watching. It gives you a message that you must try chase excellence and not success. This is what I used to tell my students to be good in what you are doing and not focus on getting a job.

Whether it is Photoshop or Rocket science the rule is the same. It is the same if you are a house holder, Farmer, Mechanic, Photographer, Scientist, Engineer, Business man, Devotee and so on.

Swami Vivekananda says the real education is enlightenment of your own self. Bhagavath geetha says that the real intelligent is the one who realizes the reason for ones own existence and who is the reason for that.

W3C has got a great web site now

W3c.org has got a great web site now. It really inspires me to go deeper and deeper in to the technology and understand them better. Web 2.0, declarative programming, web for mobile and more. I will post more content on the latest tech developments on the web and mobile soon.. Do post your comments if you have any.

You know that I am a fan of google android from the day they launched their first G1 through T-Mobile. I would like to see the phone, google on the web and the apps working together.

I am excited to see android and sony working together to make a great phone. I always like the way sony is though I want sony to make things really different. I dont know if this is the phone I want OR the Taiwanese Nexus. I am sure I will not go for iPhone. You know why? because it is already great. I want something who fights to win apple in a true way like google. Google here is my vote for you. Apple is like God for me. Microsoft makes my living possible. What do you say?

Avatar and the industry in 2010

Avatar is a creation by masters in the industry. James Cameron did an excellent job creating such a wonderful movie. Did you watch the movie? Did you like it? What makes you think that the movie an excellent work? Will you recommend this movie to others..?

Every year comes to me with a surprise. Last year 2009 had lots of it. My wife's demise, my colleague's unexpected behavior, friends and relatives moving away at the same time some good relatives and friends helping me and so on. Let us all realize that the life here is temporary and there is no point in lamenting on the material losses though it is hard to accept it.
